ABOUT THE PROJECT
Turkish and Armenian non-governmental organizations network project, TANGO Network, funded by German Marshall Fund under Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, aims to form a platform to set new partnerships and further collaborations between Turkish and Armenian non-governmental organizations (NGO).
The TANGO Network strongly believes that the bottom-up dialogue between both countries is very essential for contributing to strengthen the Turkish-Armenian relations, together with the positive developments of cultural, economic and governmental attempts. The network therefore supports to develop the relationship and increasing the cooperation between Turkish and Armenian NGOs.
In this regard the project plans to establish a web source containing information about the NGOs from Turkey and Armenia, which were collaborated or have the potential to contribute the relationship between Turkey and Armenia, and to list the best joint practices of these NGOs while providing information about current and future grant opportunities. For the project to be realized, TANGO network is looking for the NGOs who are interested to cooperate with each other and keen to actively take part in this project by starting to contribute for the content development of the website.
