The project ”Accelerating Corporate Social Responsibility in the Black Sea Region” is being implemented in collaboration with the Corporate Social Responsibility Association of Turkey & Armenian Marketing Association & Center for CSR Development’, supported by the Black Sea NGO Forum. The project aims to improve the capacities of NGOs, companies, and academics in the Black Sea countries in the areas of CSR and Sustainable Development Goals. An online survey will be conducted to conduct CSR case analysis in each partner institution’s country and other Black Sea countries, the private sector, and civil society. The study printouts will be used to prepare the ‘Online CSR 101 Guide’. The online CSR 101 Guide is ‘What is a CSR and how should it be improved?’ to raise awareness of all stakeholders, especially private and civil society. The ‘2019 Top 100 CSR Influence Leaders’ list, which was built by the Assent Compliance company and includes many international top names, has been published! As a result of an independent research on behalf of the Assent Compliance company, the list that was first announced in 2018 allows us to identify 100 international names that make a difference in the field of CSR. In order to better reflect the changing situation in the field of CSR and to contribute to the global supply chain and to see the individual efforts on these issues, the revised list has been published recently with new names. Mr. Serdar Dinler, our Chair of the Board, maintain to be among the 100 most influential CSR Leaders in the world in 2019.
Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA) organizes a Social Hack project in collaboration with CSR Turkey which brings together social entrepreneurs, graphic designers, computer programmers, interface designers, and project managers to create digital solutions for social problems by developing software or business ideas. In the IGA Social Hackathon, teams are expected to present a business or project idea by choosing one of the branches “Decent Work and Economic Growth” or “Sustainable Cities and Communities”. 6 teams that achieve the top three spots will be allotted time to transform their ideas into projects. At the grand final where last six teams will compete, the team whose project ranks the 1st will be provided a grant and have an opportunity to turn their project into reality.

Turkey’s first Diplohack event Diplohack Istanbul with the theme of Sustainable Development Goals was held on 2-3 November 2018 in inogar. Corporate Social Responsibility Summit took place at Istanbul Dedeman Hotel on 6th December 2018 and moderated by Ece Vahapoğlu.
